Pie Iesu domine, dona eis requiem - posted at 22:02

My beloved, how could you do this to me? We've been through so much, we've been so many places together! I've professed my love and amazement of your superior qualities numerous times, and this is how you repay me?

By abandoning me in my hour of need???

I do not know why, on the eve of my senior project presentation, you refused to draw the fresh filtered water through the Ghirardelli Chocolate Hazelnut grounds I had so lovingly placed in your permanent filter, but you chose that route, and I am filled with despair.

And a caffeine headache.

Oh, dear Gevalia, how will I ever survive without you?

Ariel commented:

This is heartbreaking.

darth commented:

thats a nice looking coffee maker..glass lined thermal carafe???

Stacey commented:

It's a totally great coffeemaker! I love how it keeps the coffee warm with insulation instead of a burner plate -- it doesn't burn it! It doesn't have any fancy-pants things like a clock or timer or anything, but it makes coffee, and it makes it very well.

Well, rather, it used to.

Outcast Cat commented:

'Tis tragic...but what does "pie iesu domine, dona eis requiem" mean?? Its in the Monty Pithon movie (my favorite scene acctually) but when I looked it up on google, I was sent to your page.

Outcast Cat commented:

Okay, okay. Please don't bother responding...can we say that I was too jet-lagged to think straight?

I really love your blog, its really awesome.
